Worlds That Showcase the Charm of Edo-Tokyo Submission Guidelines
The“Call for metaverse space expressing the charm of Edo/Tokyo” has ended.
Thank you for your many applications.
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has launched Virtual Edo-Tokyo, a project that utilizes digital (3D) spaces to highlight the charm of Edo and Tokyo.
This project aims to promote the diverse attractions of modern Tokyo and the knowledge and creativity that originated in Edo, ultimately increasing interest in Tokyo among domestic and international audiences.
We will accept submissions for cluster worlds that showcase the unique appeals of Edo and Tokyo that you would like to share.
Selected worlds will be connected via warp access from Virtual Edo-Tokyo.

- We are seeking cluster worlds that will serve as new landmarks for Edo-Tokyo.
To complete your submission, please include the URL of your world and any other relevant information in the form found at the "Submissions" link below.-

*For team submissions, please provide the IDs of all members other than the representative (maximum 500 characters). This field is not required for individual submissions. - cluster world URL

*Worlds published before the submission period are also eligible for entry.
*"Worlds published before the submission period" refers to worlds made public by 23:59 on the day before submissions open. There are no specific restrictions regarding the upload date to Cluster, regardless of whether the worlds are public or private.
*Please refrain from submitting applications with nicknames that are political, contrary to public order or morality, or otherwise inappropriate.
*Each individual or team may submit a maximum of two entries. (If an individual is applying both as part of a team and individually, they may submit one entry in each category.)
*Images submitted through the form may be used for promotional purposes or as warp images for connection within Virtual Edo-Tokyo.
*Worlds published by the end of the submission period will be eligible for connection.
*Worlds updated after the end of the submission period will not be eligible.
*Worlds created using beta features are also eligible for submission.
*Warp connections to submitted works are scheduled to be removed at the end of June 2025; however, this schedule is subject to extension or early termination.

- Creation Methods

Use the cluster World Craft Feature or the Cluster Creator Kit for creation.
Team-based creation is permitted. (Submissions should be made by a representative only.)
*For team submissions, all members must meet the eligibility requirements below.
Include the following information in the description of your submitted world:- The hashtag of this project:
#NewEdoTokyoLandmarksInTheMetaverse - Explain what makes your world a new landmark of Edo-Tokyo.
Describe your world's connection to Edo-Tokyo.
*The description section of your world's web page is advised to be kept under 100MB.
*When using World Craft, the data size is advised to be kept within 70% of the scale shown at the bottom of the UI. - The hashtag of this project:
- Participation Gift
- All participants will receive an original Virtual Edo-Tokyo accessory.
- Warp Connection of Submitted Works
- Following submission through the designated form, the administrative office will review submitted works for compliance with the submission guidelines before establishing warp connections.
Please note that if the number of submissions exceeds expectations, earlier entries will receive priority, and some works may not be featured.
Warp connections within the world are scheduled to be established around March 2025.
*Any false claims may result in disqualification. If discovered during the publication period, the warp connection from the Virtual Edo-Tokyo world may be removed without notice.
- Eligibility Requirements

- Must agree to the "Submission Terms and Conditions" listed below.
- Must comply with the Cluster Terms of Use.
- Must not have previously violated the Cluster Terms of Use.
- Must maintain the submitted world unchanged and undeleted from the end of the submission period until the warp connection is removed (scheduled for the end of June 2025).
- Must not fall under any of the exclusion criteria listed below.
Organized crime groups (refers to "organized crime group" as defined in Article 2, Item 2 of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Ordinance on Elimination of Organized Crime Groups [Tokyo Metropolitan Government Ordinance No. 54. of 2011, hereinafter referred to as the "Ordinance"]).
Groups with representatives, executives, employees, other members or constituents who are organized crime group members (refers to "organized crime group member" as defined in Article 2, Item 3 of the Ordinance and "person related to an organized crime group" as defined in Article 2, Item 4 of the Ordinance).
